We warmly invite you to a second installment of STS Austria’s workshop “STS: Skills, Career Trajectories and Stories” on career orientation and different professional paths for STS graduates. The workshop will take place ONLINE on Wednesday, Nov 24th, 2021, 14:00 – 17:00, via Zoom.
The workshop presents an opportunity for current students and recent graduates in STS and related fields to learn about the diverse areas and fields of work where STS related knowledge and skills can be applied. Former STS students now working in areas such as research administration and funding, programme management, communications, public health and legal research, will share their professional experiences and stories in a “living books” format, providing room for individual questions and in-depth discussion.
We are happy to announce our workshop will open with our keynote speaker Professor Aristotle Tympas (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) who will lend his experiences overseeing and directing multiple masters and graduate level programs in STS and share his perspective on STS career opportunities.
We kindly ask that all participants register for the event via email to winkler@ihs.ac.at. Registrations will be accepted until Tuesday 22nd.
We will send out the Zoom link to everyone who registered on the morning before the workshop.
